Download a necessary file. |

Place a formatted floppy disk in your A: drive. |

Go to your download directory and copy the necessary file to your A: drive. |

Open the Display Properties window. Do this by selecting the Display icon in Control Panel, or by right-clicking anywhere on the Windows 95 desktop (away from any icons). A small menu will open, left-click once on the last option, Properties. This opens the Display Properties window.

Click on the Settings Tab at the top of the window.

Click on the "Advanced Properties" button. |

Click on "Monitor" tab. |
|

Click on the button to the right of the current monitor type. This will open the Select Device window. |

Click on [Have Disk...] in the Select Device window. |

In the "Install From Disk" window, A:\ should already be entered. Click on [OK]. |

Another "Select Device" window will open. Select the proper monitor model number from the list.

Select to load .INF file. It will take a few seconds for the file to load. The screen may flicker and go black momentarily.

Click in Change Display Type window. |

Click in Display Properties. The monitor type is now set.

Remove the floppy disk, label it "DELUXSCAN Monitor .INF Files" and store it for future use. You will need it if you ever perform a system recovery using the Recovery CD.
