How do I install the monitor
driver?
|
Perform
the following instructions to check your monitor information.
Mouse right-click on the Desktop and go to Properties (or Registration
Information) ->Setting->Advanced ->Monitor.
Check your monitor name under the Monitor tab.
If you see your monitor is "Plug & Play Monitor",
this means that your monitor has been correctly installed.
In this case, you do not have to set up your monitor separately
or install the monitor driver.
If you see "Primary Monitor" or "Standard Monitor"
as a monitor name, this means that your computer has not perceived
optimum value of your monitor.
Therefore, you have to download the appropriate driver for installation.
The driver is available from Hyundai ImageQuest official website.
[ NOTE ] |
|
|
I have No Signal to my monitor,
staying black.
|
The
driver is intended to notify a computer of information on a monitor.
The driver will register optimum/variable frequency and resolution
of a monitor with a computer.
Since all drivers of Hyundai ImageQuest has been registered with
Windows operating systems, you will see "Plug & Play Monitor".
¡Ø In case of Windows XP
Microsoft requires all peripheral device manufacturers to pay charges
for working with Windows XP version.
Any old or no longer produced products have not been registered
with Microsoft.
Your monitor will be automatically set to Windows OS when installing
the driver.
So, you can proceed with the installation of the driver, ignoring
any warning message saying, "This display driver is not compatible".
Or you may see a monitor name (model name) on other Windows versions,
such as WIN95 and WIN98.
However, if you should come across "Primary Monitor",
this means that your driver has not been installed correctly.
In this case, delete the monitor item from the Device Manager and
reinstall the driver. Your monitor will be registered as a "Plug
& Play Monitor". |

|
I have No Signal to my monitor,
staying black.
|
This
may happen when no Input signal (Frequency) is sent to the monitor.
In case such problem happens even when a computer is on, it is highly
likely that your computer has a defective graphic card installed
in it.
We recommend that you swapped out your monitor, computer or graphic
card to check which part has a problem.
In many cases, this may happen due to a defective graphic card,
not defective monitor. |

Recommended specifications vary according to display models. Please
configure optimum resolution and frequency referring to your User's
Manual.
If such problem persists, please contact Service Center stating
your Windows version, graphic card, resolution and frequency.
(Screen shaking may be caused by other factors such as unstable

What is a refresh rate in LCD
Monitor?
|
The
refresh rate is the amount of times a display's image is repainted
or refreshed per second.
The refresh rate is expressed in hertz so a refresh rate of 75 means
the image is refreshed 75 times in a second.
In other words, it takes 1/75 second for the display to change the
entire image to another image.
The higher the refresh rate, the better. However, if a refresh rate
is 60 or more, you cannot feel the difference.
Most of Hyundai ImageQuest LCD models have a refresh rate of 60Hz
that is an optimum refresh rate. |

How do I clean my LCD monitor?
|
The
LCD monitor screen is coated with special thin-film.
Just wipe off the dusts or dirt on the screen with a moistened cloth.
Never use chemicals such as wax cleaners.
Or strong cleaners which can cause the surface to yellow and become
brittle.
Make sure not to give the screen surface a firm press while cleaning,
which may result in the smudges on the screen surface.
LCD screens are softer than CRT glass screens, so they require some
extra tender loving care. |

My PDP Monitor/TV is too hot.
|
PDP
presents an extraordinary contrast ratio and brightness level based
on plasma effect using high-voltage. That's why any PDP generates
heat.
There are some customers who are worried about a defect with their
product. But this is a common phenomenon of all PDP products.
The PDP industry installed a noisy fan in the previous models to
prevent the heat generation. Now, free-noise PDPs with no fan are
on the market. |
